When can I log in and make changes to my box?
You can log in and personalize your share during the following times:
Can I choose add-ons, instead of vegetables, to use up my Farm Credit?
Yes, anything we offer can be purchased with Farm Credit.
What if the ordering period has closed? Can I still change my order?
Once the ordering period closes, your order is finalized and cannot be changed. This gives us a day to harvest and pack your order. Changes to your delivery point must also be done before the ordering period closes.
Can I get a delivery even if it's not my official delivery day?
Yes you can! For example, if you're signed up to regularly receive deliveries on Tuesdays, you can also log in for a Thursday delivery. The main difference is that no box will be built for you on your "off" day. This means when you log in, you will have nothing in your box. Simply fill your box with any items from our inventory and you're ready to get your delivery. Please note that some delivery points/delivery home addresses are not available on both delivery days, so you may need to adjust where your box is being delivered. If you have an approved home address, any order over $45 will qualify for free delivery!
How do I customize my box?
We've designed our online ordering system to offer you maximum choice and flexibilty. If you see an item in your share that you don't want, click the Remove button below. That item's value can be used to purchase any of the many items we carry. The value of any "removed" item becomes Farm Credit. You are not required to use up your Farm Credit for each delivery. Up to $50 is available for use in future weeks. If you want to place a large order, its no problem to add additional items from what we have available. Simply click "add to box" below the item and it will arrive on your delivery day. There is no need to "checkout" or pay immediately. You will be billed for any extra items in your web account when the ordering period ends.
When can I pick up my box at your delivery points?
The following pickup start times are estimates of when we will be arriving. For more precise delivery info, you can sign up for email and/or text message notifications that are sent the moment your share arrives. Do this on the Account Info page when you log into your web account.
What if I am going on vacation and can't pick up my box? Can I get more veggies in future weeks?
Yes, up to $100 of Farm Credit will carry over from week to week until it is used. Any time you are unable to pick up a box, log in during the delivery's open period and click the Cancel Order button. This will let us know not to deliver a box to you. The value of the veggies removed adds to your Farm Credit up to $100.
How to I cancel my share ahead of time?
Log into your account at any time and access your Account Info by clicking the Account Info link at the top of the page. Scroll to the bottom of the page and look for the Your Shares section of the page. Click the Cancel Upcoming Deliveries button, then scroll through the list of upcoming deliveries to find the Delivery Date associated with your vacation. Click on the Cancel button next to the week(s) that you will be away. Please keep in mind that we only allow you to accumulate $100 of Farm Credit; if you have a half share, this will equal about 4 weeks of delivery, and if you have a regular share, this will equal about 2 weeks of delivery.
When are payments due?
We ask that you send payment once a month, at your convenience, or when your account owes more than $100. To simplify payment, we establish a web-account for you. Your web account allows you to order extras without having to make a payment each time. It also allows us to easily give you credits or refunds. If your account balance is positive, there is no need to send in any payment. Your account will automatically be charged your monthly share price on the 1st of each month. If you have pre-paid, these charges will draw down on your positive balance. To view your specific account charges, click the account link at the top of the ordering page and scroll to the bottom of the new page.
What are my payment options?
For the easiest way to make a payment, we recommend using your bank's online bill payment system. This service is free with nearly all banks and will also save you a stamp. Please use your full name as the account number and 77 Dream Field Ln, Terra Alta, WV 26764 as the payment address. You can also send us a check through the mail to the same address. You also have the option of using Paypal to pay by credit card or debit card. Click the Paypal logo on the main ordering page and fill in your payment amount. Paypal charges 3% for this service, which is why we recommend setting us up in your bank's bill pay system, which is just as convenient as Paypal and also free.
Can I change delivery points mid-way through the season?
Yes, just select a different delivery point in your account settings, click Update, and we'll take it from there. Please note that if you are trying to change your delivery point for the next delivery, you must do so before the ordering period closes.
How do I change my account password?
You can find a link to change your password when you log in and go to the Account Info page.
What if I forget to pick up my box at a delivery point? Is it still there?
Please make sure your box is picked up by the end time for your delivery point. Hosts have the right to remove unclaimed food at the appointed end time and use it as they see fit.
Can I cancel my add on share but still get my veggies for a specific delivery?
It's only possible to cancel your add on share by cancelling your entire order. An add on subscription gives you a discount that is based on a commitment to receive your add on item for the length of your share. If you are not sure you will be eating enough of a particular item to justify an add on share, most of our items are available each week a la carte. If you prefer to discontinue an add on share permanently, send an email to Sunshine at firstname.lastname@example.org and she'll take care of you.
I am signed up for home delivery. Do I need to do anything special?
Until the dangers of COVID-19 have passed, we will simply drop a plastic tub on your porch that contains your delivery. Please do your best to make sure this bin remains in place untouched once you have emptied it so it presents little risk to our driver. When extra precautions are no longer necessary, we will ask you to set out a cooler with cold packs for us to pack your food into.
How do I pick up my share from my delivery point?
UPDATED for COVID-19 precautions: Please make sure to observe social distancing while picking up at our drop points. Please also wear gloves and touch other bins as little as possible while unloading your own bin. Arrive at your drop site at the appropriate time and with reusable bags to transport your produce in. When you arrive at the drop site, you will find stickered gray boxes stacked. Locate the one with your name on it, empty the box of its contents, remove all veggie remnants (we will love you for this!) and nest the empty bin with the others nearby. Please don't make our hosts clean up after you. It is imperative that you leave these gray boxes at the drop sites so that we can retrieve them during our next delivery.
