The following pickup start times are conservative estimates and are usually slightly later than we will typically be arriving. For more precise delivery info, you can sign up for email and/or text message notifications. We will send you an email or text the moment your share arrives. Do this on the Account Info page when you log into your web account.
Please make sure your box is picked up by the end time for your delivery point. All unclaimed veggies are removed at the appointed end time and our hosts can then use them as they see fit.
Already know you're vacation schedule? You can cancel several weeks in advance. Log into your Account Info, scroll down to the Your Shares section and click the Cancel Upcoming Deliveries button. Select the day(s) you will miss and we'll take it from there!When cancelled, your box will be emptied and your veggie value will be added to your swap value for use in future weeks. Please note that your swap value has a $50 rollover limit. If it is greater than $50 at the close of the ordering period, you will start with a $50 swap value the following ordering period. We limit rollover because we plan our gardens for an even harvest. The rollover limit helps ensure that the amount of produce we are asking from the garden stays relatively consistent from week to week.
For the easiest way to make a payment, we recommend using your bank's online bill payment system. This service is free with nearly all banks and will also save you a stamp. Please use your full name as the account number and 145 Dream Field Ln, Terra Alta, WV 26764 as the payment address. You can also send us a check through the mail to the same address. You also have the option of using Paypal to pay by credit card or debit card. Paypal charges 3% for this service, which is why we recommend setting us up in your bank's bill pay system, which is just as convenient as Paypal and also free.
To simplify payment for any al a carte items (bread or cheese) or extra veggies, we establish a web-account for each member. Your web account allows you to receive add-on item without having to make a payment each time. It also allows us to give you credits, coupons or refunds. If you purchase add-ons, we will send you an e-bill you when you owe $100 or at the end of the season, whichever comes first.
If you don't plan to order any extras or take advantage of any specials, your balance will simply remain at $0 the whole season and you will receive the farmer's choice share or an equivalent value of your choice of veggies each week.
If you are signed up for an Add-on Subscription, once you make a choice, you will receive that item every week until you choose something different.
Cancelling add-on shares while on vacation is easy. When you use the Cancel Order button to cancel your veggie share for the week, you will not be charged for your bread, cheese or egg subscription.
Your delivery point is flexible, but any changes to your delivery point must be done before the ordering period closes for the upcoming delivery. Wherever you receive your share, you will be notified by email or text message when your box has arrived. You can opt out of these notifications by visiting your Account Info page.
Sometimes, predicting what will be ready for harvest a few days ahead of time can be challenging. We're proud to take your order while it is still growing and gladly accept this challenge because it allows us to offer even fresher produce. In very rare cases, however, we may have to make last minute substitutions to your box choices based on circumstances beyond our control. If you are ever disappointed with the contents of your box, please let us know so that we can remedy the situation.
If you've been approved for home delivery, when you log into your Account Info, your address will appear in the drop down menu as your delivery point. Your produce will be delivered to your home in a gray bin on your selected delivery day. On delivery days, please set the previous bin and lid in a visible location so we can pick it up. We appreciate if the bin is returned clean, dry and free of vegetable remnants. This greatly facilitates its cleaning for reuse.
